12 Amazing Things To Make A Mom’s Life Easier

Some days, I feel like I am constantly cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids, etc. There are some things I use that just make things easier and better. Here are my favorite products that I use. These things make a mom’s life easier, better, and just less stressful!

This list is a variety of things that I love… some of them help me to stay organized, some help with cleaning, and some are just things that make me feel better and decrease my stress levels! But they are all products I use regularly and they are all things that I love!

As a busy mom, sometimes I just need some stuff for myself that makes me feel good! I am a mom on a budget and I only like to spend money on products that are worth it. In my opinion, all of these products are worth the money!

I have talked about most of these gadgets in other blog posts, but I wanted to get them all in one spot so they are easy to find. We are busy moms and we don’t have time to be looking in 10 different posts for great products. I wanted to share these things to help make another mom’s life easier!

  • Roomba-
    • This thing saves me so much time! I just make sure things are picked up off the floor and it does the rest of the work for me.
    • It also helps me to stay in a better mood. I HATE it when stuff sticks to my feet as I am walking. All I have to do, is turn this on either before bed or before I leave the house and then my floors are vacuumed!
    • I do have a give a disclosure that it does get stuck sometimes, but I’ve had mine for about 5 years now and I know where it likes to get stuck in my house. Over the years, I’ve created little barriers to prevent it from getting stuck in those spots.
    • For anyone that doesn’t have a robotic vacuum, I would HIGHLY recommend you get one!

  • Leggings-
    • I mean what mom can survive without a good pair of leggings?!
    • I have a couple favorite brands of leggings:
      • These leggings have pockets and are comfortable. I did have to order a size up. I normally wear medium but that was a little snug around the stomach for my liking. These are great for running and going out and about.
      • I also love these leggings. They are soft and comfortable. I love wearing these around the house, to bed, and out and about. I don’t like these for running as they tend to slide down if I run with my phone in my pocket.
  • Coffee
    • I cannot survive without my coffee! It’s the first thing I get when I wake up. I have my pot set so it is finished brewing when my alarm goes off. There is nothing better than the smell of coffee. I wrote a post on Medium about why I love coffee. Check that out here.
    • This winter, I made this cute little coffee and wine bar. It’s certainly not as fancy as some of them I’ve seen on Pinterest, but I love how it turns out. It’s cute and it saved a ton of room in my cupboards. Plus, I only spent about $150 on the whole project. Getting coffee in the morning is even better now!

  • Organized mail station by the door and for your office.
    • This helps me stay organized and helps to make sure I don’t forget any important documents.
    • I like to keep some papers by the door such as school documents, homework, mail I haven’t had time to look through yet, bills, etc.
    • In my office, I like to keep work documents, and important information documents (such as health information, school papers I might need to reference, etc). This is the organizer I have in my office.

  • Good quality jogging stroller
    • I love to go for walks and get outside. I have never regretted spending the money on a good quality stroller. I do regret not spending the money sooner.
    • I bought my double jogging stroller on a local sell-it site. That is a great way to get good-quality gear for a cheaper price. Who doesn’t like saving money?! Here are some other great money-saving tips for moms.
  • Cute hats for days when I don’t have time to do my hair (or don’t feel like doing my hair).

  • Fitpulse
    • Any brand massage gun would probably do, but this is the brand I have… it’s amazing! It helps loosen tight muscles and decreases pain!
    • I am a runner and I try to work out regularly (some weeks I’m better at it than others). I get muscle soreness and tightness from exercising at times and the fitpulse is great to help decrease soreness.
    • If you get muscle soreness or tightness almost anywhere on your body, you need this thing! It’s great and you won’t regret it!
    • I have even taught my kids how to use it on my shoulders and back. So, it’s a win-win. I feel better and they think it is fun to use it!
  • Daily devotions
    • I have mentioned this book in several of my posts, but I love it so much! It’s such a great way to help me improve my mindset and focus on being more positive.
    • I can’t tell you enough how important gratitude is. Focusing on gratitude has so many benefits and it’s a great example to set for your kids.

  • Water bottle.
    • Let’s face it, we all need water! I have to keep a water bottle full and accessible all day to make sure I am staying on track.
    • I have 2 favorite water bottles:
      • This one is great because it helps me track my time. The downfall to it is that it’s not insulated, but it is cute and very portable.
      • This next one is also great for other reasons. It’s super cute and it keeps my water cold for a very long time. I also love the variety of lids that it comes with.
  • Backpack purse
    • When you have littles, you need to keep as many hands free as possible. I quickly learned that I need to have either a crossbody purse or a backpack purse.
    • I have a crossbody purse, but honestly, I like the backpack purse a little better. It is easier to carry, it doesn’t get in the way, and it puts the weight evenly on both shoulders.
  • Crockpot
    • I mean we probably all have one, but I still had to mention it! They are so handy and can help save a lot of time (and potentially money if it saves you from going out to eat!).
    • I use my crockpot so often. It’s so nice to come home to supper already made after a busy day.

Those are my favorite products that I use as a mom. I hope you find something helpful here!
