How Quickly and Easily Clean Shower In 10 Minutes Or Less

I LOVE having a clean house, but I HATE cleaning the shower. It is a task I seriously dread and I tend to let it go for way too long. I finally found a great method for how to clean shower quickly.

In general, I don’t mind cleaning. I find it kind of therapeutic and it feels so good to have a clean house. The biggest issue I have is lack of time… Moms are busy and there is a never-ending to-do list.

I also really just hate cleaning the shower… Why does cleaning the shower seem so terrible?!

I am always trying to find ways to keep my house clean while spending less time and effort on cleaning. All moms are busy! We don’t have time to clean all day! I do some cleaning each day in my house, but I really just hate cleaning the shower. Here is how I keep my house clean and organized.

The shower is definitely the dirties thing in my house and I am trying to get better at it. This way of cleaning the shower requires little to no scrubbing… I mostly just wipe it down. We have very hard water. I was amazed that I was able to get it so clean… especially after I let it go for so long!

There are only 2 products and a microfiber cloth I use to clean the shower… They are both relatively inexpensive and can have multiple uses. I use My Bar Keepers Friend and Rinse Aid. And that’s it!

I seriously love this stuff for cleaning the shower. I typically try to use natural cleaners such as Norwex cleaners, Mrs. Meyers, and Seventh Generation. However, I have not found any natural cleaners that can compete with this for shower cleaning. This saves so much time and scrubbing! Click here to check out My Bar Keepers Friend.

I am embarrassed to show pictures of my shower before cleaning… it was so gross! I let it go for far too long and then I let it sit for a few extra days… Really, I was just avoiding cleaning it, but I told myself it was to make sure it was really dirty for the pictures!

I mean look at all of that nastiness… but don’t look too closely! It’s gross! I had to make the picture smaller so it didn’t look so terrible. The whole shower looked like that… and I swear I usually keep a very clean house… everything other than my showers that is. I mop and vacuum twice a week and clean the bathrooms weekly (sometimes more depending on how dirty they are), but I just cannot bring myself to clean the showers for some reason!

After my 10 minutes of hard work (which included checking on my kids twice during this time)… THIS is how it looked…

Look at how nice and shiny clean it is! And honestly 10 minutes… or less depending on how many times you need to check on your children while cleaning… I set my timer and when I was done, it was 10 minutes and 10 seconds.

Here’s how to quickly clean your shower:

  1. Took everything out of the shower.
  2. Sprayed it all down with My Bar Keeper’s Friend
  3. Let it sit for 3 minutes.
  4. Wiped it down with a DAMP microfiber cloth.
  5. Sprayed the shower off using the showerhead.
  6. Using a clean and dry cloth, I wiped it down with Dishwasher Rinse Aid. I just pour some Rinse Aid on the cloth and wipe as much as I can with that. I add Rinse Aid to the cloth as needed.
  7. Once it is all wiped down with the Rinse Aid, I spray it all off again using the showerhead.

That’s all! The Rinse Aid really helps it stay shiny and gets all the water spots off!

Now you know how to quickly and easily clean your shower! Hopefully, this helps you save some time and keep your house cleaner. I think all most moms want is to have a clean house, healthy kids, and to decrease our stress levels!

Well, this shower cleaning method can hopefully help you have a clean house and decrease some stress. I know I get stressed when my house is dirty. Having a clean house certainly makes me feel better!

The other benefit to this is that you can keep your shower clean for very little cost. I already had Rinse Aid and a microfiber cloth at home. All I had to do was purchase My Bar Keepers Friend and I was good to go. I know as a mom, I am always trying to find ways to save money and stick to my budget.
